Good morning, good morning. Good day sunshine. Good night? Anytime at all?
Do you want to know a secret? The best things in life are free, money can’t buy me love and the long, long, long, long and winding road across the universe is something within and without you.
I can’t help yer blues or misery and her majesties taxman will always rain on your old brown shoes. A hard days night is just a day in the life but i just want to tell you that i’ll hold your hand here, there and everywhere because i’ve got a feeling we can work it out and come together. I dig a pony, i drive my car, i follow the sun back to the USSR.
I want to tell you that i’m not a nowhere man, or one of those hello/goodbye boys. I’m mother nature’s son who’s flying free as a bird and when i’m sixty-four, i hope my real love is eight days a week and getting better all the time.
I’ve just seen a face. Ain’t she sweet, I wanna be your man. Please please me and get back to me. No reply? Cry baby cry, Ob-la-di, ob-la-da life goes on brah! You know my name, look up the number!
I’ll find another girl, i will! It won’t be long with a little help from my friends or some other guy Dig it!
Tell me what you see. Oh darling, tell me why, in spite of all the danger why should i carry that weight of chains and piggies and honey pie to get you into my life?
She said, she said, “All I’ve got to do is act naturally, let it be and every little thing from me to you will rain from the inner light of the sun king and the two of us will have golden slumbers in an octopus’s garden in the shade, for here comes the sun and you really got a hold on me. Don’t ever change, hold me tight, i’m happy just to dance with you.”
The end
I wrote that a few years ago. I’m a recovering Beatle-maniac and an amateur writer at best, but a writer nonetheless…
I came across this website when searching for the title of a Beatles song and after seeing such a diverse selection of titles i wondered if one could write an entire story based on the only the song names.
So instead of wondering, I started writing and what you just read was the result. I used 84 of 265 songs listed from that website link, which is approx. 32% of all Beatles song titles.
